Job Description

SkyBridge Luxury & Associates has partnered with an ultra-luxury resort to source a highly organized and hands-on Laundry Manager to oversee all laundry operations, including linen, terry, uniform, and dry-cleaning services. This newly created role will lead the launch of a state-of-the-art facility equipped with brand-new commercial laundry and dry-cleaning systems , supporting both guest services and internal departments.

The Laundry Manager will be instrumental in establishing workflows, ensuring exceptional quality standards, and collaborating closely with the Housekeeping leadership team to maintain seamless service across the property. In addition to overseeing day-to-day laundry operations, this leader will provide Housekeeping leadership coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Launch and manage daily operations of the resort’s new laundry facility, ensuring optimal use of all new equipment
  • Oversee processing and care of all resort linen, terry, uniforms, and guest dry cleaning
  • Develop and implement laundry procedures and quality control standards in line with luxury brand expectations
  • Recruit, train, and lead a laundry team, setting performance expectations and overseeing scheduling
  • Maintain proper inventory levels for linens, chemicals, and supplies; monitor usage and implement cost control measures
  • Ensure all safety protocols and equipment maintenance procedures are followed
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping leadership to ensure operational support and fill supervisory coverage when required
  • Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, and third-party vendors for service needs and supply coordination

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience managing laundry operations in a luxury hotel, cruise line, or resort environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, and garment care best practices
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a high-performance team
  • Understanding of luxury service standards and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to support broader Housekeeping operations when needed
