Adecco has partnered with a Global K- Beauty Brand to grow their market share in US. This is a Full Time, Direct Hire (Onsite) position. This company will be operating as a startup with the resources and brand of a top company in the space. Tons of growth potential. Beautiful office space in Downtown LA.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Merchandising (MD) to lead our product selection and sourcing strategy. This role will be responsible for identifying and curating a compelling assortment of both Korean and U.S. beauty brands, driving sales, and managing vendor relationships.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies, distribution channels, and business partnerships for both K-beauty and U.S. beauty products
• Identify and evaluate emerging trends and competitive landscapes to drive strategic business growth
• Identify and establish partnerships with U.S. and Korean beauty brands
• Oversee product sourcing, pricing, and category management to optimize sales and profitability
• Analyze market trends and consumer insights to curate an innovative product mix
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive promotions and product launches
• Manage vendor negotiations, contracts, and supply chain logistics
• Lead and mentor the merchandising team to achieve company goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Fashion, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, or category management in the beauty industry
• Strong knowledge of both Korean and U.S. beauty markets
• Proven track record of successful vendor negotiations and product sourcing
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with both DTC and retail distribution channels
• Understanding of beauty industry regulations and trends
• Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus
