About the Oregon Garden Resort

The Oregon Garden Resort is a scenic 103-room hotel nestled beside the stunning 80-acre Oregon Garden in Silverton, Oregon. Our on-site restaurant, bar, and expansive event spaces serve resort guests, locals, weddings, and group business year-round. We are also home to the Silverton Christmas Market, a large-scale seasonal event drawing thousands of visitors each winter.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to oversee operations across our restaurant, bar, banquets, kitchen, and seasonal concessions. This is a leadership role supported by a dedicated Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, a Banquet Manager, and a Kitchen Manager, allowing you to focus on driving standards, mentoring department leaders, and optimizing performance across all outlets.

This position is ideal for someone who’s ready to take full ownership of food & beverage operations, balancing big-picture strategy with on-the-ground execution, to elevate both the guest experience and team performance.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership across all F&B operations (restaurant, bar, banquets, kitchen, and seasonal concessions).
  • Oversee and support department leads: Assistant F&B Manager, Banquet Manager, and Kitchen Manager.
  • Lead service standards, staff training, and SOP implementation to ensure consistent guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Kitchen Manager on food quality, menu execution, and cost controls.
  • Manage scheduling oversight, payroll approvals, labor cost tracking, and inventory controls.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Events, and Front Office teams to ensure seamless service execution.
  • Take the lead on food & beverage operations for the Silverton Christmas Market during November–December.
  • Monitor and respond to guest feedback, address service concerns, and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, OLCC, and labor laws.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of F&B management experience in a hotel, event venue, or multi-outlet restaurant setting.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, hold people accountable, and create a positive, results-driven work culture.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service operations, inventory management, and labor control.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • OLCC and Food Handler Certifications required (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience with large-scale events or seasonal operations is a plus.
