Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct crew members, scheduling daily work activities to ensure efficient project progression.
• Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and project specifications, using efficient methods to meet deadlines.
• Oversee project safety for Elite Builds employees and subcontractors.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to coordinate material, manpower, and equipment needs.
• Communicate with vendors to order necessary jobsite materials.
• Represent the company positively through a professional image and attitude.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Construction Skills: Proficiency in wood framing, metal stud framing, and installation of windows, doors, and hardware. Experience in operating hand tools and equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, and skid steers.
• Technology Proficiency: Ability to use a computer or iPad for project management and communication tasks.
• Additional Capabilities: Multi-tasking, a clean driving record, and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Essential Job Duties:

• Construct commercial buildings and systems per project specifications.
• Plan and prepare daily work activities, ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are on-site.
• Complete layout and sequence planning for efficient work completion.
• Perform wood framing, trusses, roof sheeting, post framing, and steel stud framing.
• Install commercial hollow metal doors, wood doors, frames, hardware, and windows.
• Execute finish carpentry work, including baseboards, casing, wainscoting, molding, and cabinets.
• Safely operate forklifts, boom lifts, and other equipment.
• Enforce jobsite safety and cleanliness.
• Coordinate and train crew members, mentoring new employees to build team capability.
