Job Description

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual who will oversee the company's financial records and account personnel. You will be responsible for maintaining all procedures and controls related to the company's financial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with government agencies
• Act as the point of contact for external auditors
• Maintain internal books and finances Analyze financial transactions
• ● Financial Stewardship: Ensure excellence in financial management through accurate, timely reporting and sound accounting practices. ● Customer Service: Provide superior service to faculty, staff, and families on financial matters. ● Leadership & Teamwork: Create a positive, motivated work environment and foster collaboration and respect. ● Communication: Effectively convey financial reports and policies in writing and verbally. ● Integrity & Compliance: Uphold high standards of integrity and maintain optimal internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or 5 - 7 years of related experience
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• GAAP knowledge, CPA preferred
• Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills
• Proficiency in financial software (experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge required and Raiser’s Edge is a plus).
