Forward Deployed Software Engineer

Location: Redwood City, CA

Join a rapidly growing AI-driven communications platform as a Forward Deployed Software Engineer. You’ll blend hands-on technical work with customer engagement, partnering with sales, product, and engineering teams to implement and customise cutting-edge AI/ML solutions for enterprise clients.

What You’ll Do

• Technical Delivery: Prototype, build, and deploy AI/ML integrations—from custom feature development to production-grade code—directly for customers.
• Customer Collaboration: Work alongside sales and key stakeholders to understand pain points, architect solutions, and ensure successful deployments.
• End-to-End Ownership: Own projects through discovery, development, rollout, and iterative improvement based on user feedback.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Liaise with product managers, data scientists, and support teams to drive product enhancements and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For

• Software Expertise: 1-10 years of professional experience in Python, Java or C++
• Strong Communication: Able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and build trust with enterprise customers.
• Problem Solver: Comfortable tackling unfamiliar challenges and learning on the fly—bonus if you’ve worked on AI/ML systems or developer-facing tools.
• Startup Mindset: Ready to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment; must be onsite for core hours, with flexible remote time.
• Collaborative Attitude: Eager to partner with sales and product teams and champion customer success.
