Senior Project Manager

Dallas, TX – Fully Onsite

$120 – 180K (Depending on Experience) – Full Time with Benefits

Take your career to the next level with us! R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (R.M. Chin) is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager to lead the CEI team for all TxDOT projects. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, is highly motivated, and committed to ensuring successful project delivery. The Senior Project Manager plays a pivotal role in representing CHIN and all CEI related projects.

Job Duties :

• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Oversee the construction process, ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.
• Manage subcontractors and staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Advises contractors of necessary actions to ensure conformance with plans, specs, and contract.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Develop and manage project budgets.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and staff.
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
• Interface with project clients.
• Participate in marketing and proposal preparation.
• Prepare and approve scope of work and costing documents for proposals.
• Coordinate with other senior engineering staff, lead junior team members, project stakeholders, and other disciplines to manage an organized approach to project execution.
• Manage the preparation of construction drawings, cost estimates, and specifications to implement designs.
• Prepare, review, and approve client-ready reports and drawings.
• Evaluate design options and understand costs/benefits of solutions.
• Train and mentor junior staff.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Qualifications :

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, engineering, or a highly related discipline preferred.
• 15 years of Transportation Construction management experience.
• Professional Engineer License (PE)
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Bluebeam, SiteManager, Headlight, or other construction documentation software.)
• Experience with TxDOT Standard Specifications, Standard Plans, and Construction Contract Administration Manual.
• TxDOT and Tollway experience a plus.
