Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement and Logistics Manager to oversee the organization’s supply chain operations. This role is responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing procurement activities, and ensuring the efficient transportation and storage of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and budgets.
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Manage purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Coordinate and optimize transportation and logistics operations, both domestically and internationally.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement and logistics.
  • Analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop KPIs to track procurement and logistics performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement and/or logistics management.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
