Title: Full Stack Developer

Location: Hybrid – Springfield, VA or Remote

Required clearance for this position: PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ACTIVE DHS/EOD CLEARANCE OR A DOD TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.

Indev is seeking a Full Stack Developer with 6+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role will support the development and enhancement of an existing travel scheduling system. We seek a mix of technical and business experience in mission-oriented environments. We are especially looking for candidates who have worked with DHS and currently hold an active clearance.

This position comes with an above market salary and signing bonus depending on experience.

Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members in an Agile, cross functional team using sprint-based delivery to support business requirement elicitation and translation into technical solutions for mission critical projects
• Design, develop, and implement solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, Java, JavaScript and C#
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for DHS applications
• Support the implementation of software development best practices, including code documentation, configuration management, and version control for DHS projects
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers on the team
• Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues in systems
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Perform other related duties as needed to support the mission

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and Must have an active DHS/EOD clearance
• Proficiency in full-stack development , including both frontend and backend technologies
• Ability to provide well-documented technical recommendations and justifications
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and compelling way
