Job Summary

The Manager, Executive Office for North America is a strategic partner to the President, GGNA and the executive leadership team (NAEC). Responsible for driving strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment of initiatives across all functional teams, both within the Region and towards global Group initiatives. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing and organizing major internal meetings (e.g. NAEC/NALT) and customer events (e.g. strategy sessions). This role reports to the President, GGNA and will work closely with all functional leadership teams to translate leadership vision into actionable plans that encourage a culture of trust, accountability, and results. The role is a development path for a leadership role in operations and/or any functional department in the future.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • As a strategic partner to the President, GGNA, and the executive team, set and manage all leadership-related meetings for agenda, focus, and results.
  • Attend all Executive meetings North America Executive Committee (NAEC) and North America Leadership Team meetings (NALT) to take minutes. Manage the logistics of these meetings with the Hospitality team, Communications team, and other departments for presentations, reporting for impactful and focused outcomes.
  • Act as a project manager for strategic/special projects and cross-functional initiatives that may fall outside the scope of individual departments.
  • Develop and implement initiatives/projects, reporting structure and tools to create transparency and project tracking.
  • Manage the President, GGNA communications for internal, external, and extended stakeholders together with the Communications department in North America and on the global Group level.
  • Work with the Executive team (NAEC) and communications team for public appearances, media events, and external thought leadership opportunities.
  • Assist the President, GGNA, and NAEC in preparing for important meetings, presentations, and engagements.
  • Undertake any projects assigned as per business needs.

Qualifications

Education:

  • College/University Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA preferred.

Work Experience:

  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible professional business experience, preferably including experience in the Airline industry.
  • Prior experience working across teams and functions required.
  • Prior experience facilitating highly effective and focused meetings.
  • Change Management with experience in leading transformation projects preferred.
  • Professional firm background advantageous.
  • Professional experience with project and process management in a corporate business environment.

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses, and Registration)

  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Dedication and an exceptional work ethic.
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners.
  • Knowledge and experience with PowerBI.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Fbility to communicate well to internal and external partners verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization.
  • Multi-language skills preferred.
