Job Overview:

Farallon Consulting is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team at an established environmental remediation company. The ideal candidate will collaborate with project managers, ensure compliance with contractual obligations, and handle various administrative tasks related to contracts, including project setup, insurance, and statement of work . The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a proactive approach. This individual will report to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review proposals for editing, finalizing, and issuing work orders for review, signature, and filing.

· Assists in negotiating contract terms and conditions; coordinates the review and approval process; reviews contractor progress to determine status of performance; administers, coordinates and processes change orders

· Inputting template contracts in VantagePoint ERP system and updating as needed with new tasks and updated costs/budget.

· Responds to requests for information on contracts from consultants, contractors, vendors, external customers, and project managers.

· Review Statement of Work (SOW) for compliance (conflict checks, pricing, and entity verification)

· Manage DocuSign software for client signatures and authorizations.

· Provide Certificate of Insurance for clients and assist with insurance renewals each year by updating COI requirements.

· Ensure proficiency and timeliness in contract administration for change documentation. Manage all aspects of contract compliance.

· Assist in developing and improving contract administration policies, templates, and procedures.

· Serve as a liaison between internal departments, subcontractors, and clients on contractual matters.

· Support audit processes and risk management efforts as they relate to contracts and client engagements.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.

· Experience: 3+ years of experience in contract administration, preferably within the engineering, environmental, or construction industries.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, familiarity with contract terms, legal language, and compliance requirements.

· Experience and other skills: Experience with project setup workflows, document control, and insurance requirements.

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project or document management systems (e.g., Deltek, Procore, SharePoint) is a plus.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Hybrid schedule with flexible in-office days at our Bellevue, WA office. Ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer, and perform typical office duties.

May need to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally for office-related tasks.

Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple priorities.
